  1. DeWalt DWE4011 Brush Spring Replacement, Brush Spring: crwdns2935265:01crwdnd2935265:01crwdnd2935265:01crwdne2935265:0
    • Turn to the bottom of the device and remove the 5/8" (17mm) screw shown using a T15 Torx Screwdriver.

    • Remove outer casing by pulling the end handle away from the field case.

  3. DeWalt DWE4011 Brush Spring Replacement: crwdns2935265:03crwdnd2935265:01crwdnd2935265:01crwdne2935265:0
    • Locate the brush springs on either side of the device.

  4. DeWalt DWE4011 Brush Spring Replacement: crwdns2935265:04crwdnd2935265:01crwdnd2935265:01crwdne2935265:0
    • Using an iFixit opening tool, remove the female terminal connecting the carbon brush wire to the male terminal.

  5. DeWalt DWE4011 Brush Spring Replacement: crwdns2935265:05crwdnd2935265:01crwdnd2935265:01crwdne2935265:0
    • Remove the spring by sliding it out of the center post (use an iFixit opening tool if needed).
