Make sure the drill is "off" by putting the forward reverse switch in the middle position. Make sure your hands are dry when handling the drill and charger.

Grab drill in one hand and cup the battery (located at the bottom of the drill) with the other hand .

Use other hand to push down on the yellow button located on the battery

Pull the battery in a horizontal direction away from the drill.
