If the volume knob on your Crosley Cruiser (CR8005A) is cracked, damaged, or having trouble turning, this guide will show you how to safely remove and replace it. (You can also remove the knob if you just want to inspect, clean, or customize it.)
The only tool required is a plastic opening tool or spudger.

Identify the volume knob.

Make sure that the power is off.

Turn the volume knob counterclockwise as far as possible.

Unplug the power cord.

The power light should be off. If the light is glowing red, wait until the light goes out.

Slip the plastic opening tool between the knob and the turntable.

Use the opening tool to pry open the knob.

The knob should now be free to inspect, customize, or replace.

To put the knob back on, push the knob directly down onto its peg.
