If your Dark Core RGB PRO SE fails to hold a charge or has a faulty battery in some other way use this guide to help you replace it.
Before changing the battery make sure to check the troubleshooting page and see if you can find a solution that doesn't require a battery change.
Make sure the mouse is turned off before beginning this guide.

Apply heat with a heat gun or blow dryer to the glide pad near your palm.

Carefully remove the glide pad with a spudger.

Remove the two screws from beneath the glide pad using a T5 Torx screwdriver.

Remove the palm rest by pulling it outwards.

Pull up where the latches are.

Remove the top buttons by using tweezers and pushing the tabs.

Remove the two screws that were underneath the left and right buttons using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Place the spudger in between the shell and the bottom of the mouse, releasing the latch.

Remove the six screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Remove the circuit board by pushing the two latches holding it in place in opposite directions.

Unplug the ribbon cable by pushing the black connector holding it in place.

Disconnect the battery cord by pulling it up.

Remove the battery with a spudger or your fingers.
