This guide will show you how to replace the keyboard of the HP Chromebook 14-x015wm. After continual use, the keyboard may become unresponsive, if this is the case it is fairly easy to replace the keyboard rather than get a new computer. Remove the small rubber circles over all four corners on the bottom of the chromebook.
Remove the three small additional rubber covers along edge of computer with hinge.
Unscrew all the screws on the bottom of the laptop using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
Make sure to keep track of the screws for reassembly.

Flip the laptop back over to the front and open it so that the keyboard is visible.
Use the iFixit opening tool to pry off the keyboard by placing the tool in-between the keyboard and the case. Move the tool around all sides until the keyboard separates.
The keyboard will likely be difficult to remove.
Be careful to avoid pulling on the ribbons that connect the keyboard to the internal components in order to prevent damage.
