Quick guide on removing and replacing the plastic back cover. Replacement is required if the functions buttons fail to work, or the casing has been damaged.

Position the camera so that the right side is visible as shown.

Unscrew the two 6 mm screws shown using a screwdriver.

Remove the plastic flap by pressing down on the center of the hinge and pulling on the flap with the spudger.

Then, unscrew the lone 6mm screw that was under the plastic flap.

Turn the camera so that the bottom is visible, as shown.

Unscrew the three 4mm screws shown red using a screwdriver.

Unscrew the single 6mm screw.

Do not touch the screw shown yellow, removal is unnecessary. (Note: the top right yellow screw should be removed)

Turn the camera so the back side is visible, as shown.

Unscrew the two 6mm screws.

Gently remove the back cover using the spudger.

Detach the wire by lifting the small black bar that holds it to the main body of the camera.

Attach the new cover onto the camera.

Reattach the wire to your new rear casing.

Close the back cover, and re-insert appropriate screws.
