Take out old, dead batteries. Then replace them with new ones.

Place the camera so the battery cover is facing up, as shown in the picture.

Gently push on the outer battery cover until you hear a click, and then release.

To open the inner battery cover, push down on the grey latch until you hear a click, and then release.

Remove the dead batteries from the camera.

After removing the batteries, insert the new batteries in the proper direction.

Now push the black, inner cover down until you hear a click to secure the batteries in place.

Push down and forward on the outer cover to secure the latch. Your camera will now be fully charged.
