This guide aids in the removal of the punctured inner tube of a CCM Hardtail Mountain bike tire and the general technique to replace it.

Take the nozzle cap off to allow the tire to deflate.

Place the tire pump on the nozzle and press down on the nozzle.

Squeeze the tire to check if all the air has been removed.

Place the bike upside down so it’s resting on the handlebars.

Using a torque wrench with the 15mm socket, loosen the two bolts on the axle that keep the tire in place.

After removing both bolts, remove both washers that protect the frame of the bike.

Pull the tire in an upward motion, releasing it from the brakes and axle.

Insert a prying tool in between the tire and metal rim and push it outward, dislodging it from the rim and making it easier to remove.

Remove the outer tire off the rim.

Remove the inner tube from inside of the tire.
-
Clean the inner section of the outer tire with a cloth, removing any debris.

Using the bike pump, inflate the new inner tube until it becomes circular.

Place the new inner tube inside the inner section of the outer tire.

Place the outer section of the tire back onto the metal rim.

Make sure to push the nozzle of the inner tube through the designated hole in the metal rim.

Begin to pull the tire onto the rim.

Place the washers on both sides of the wheel.

Using the torque wrench and 15mm socket, tighten the bolts to the axle, making sure the tire is securely in place.

Using the bike pump, fill the tire with air.
