You will be removing the pulp basket from the juicer. If you haven't done so already, make sure you have flipped the switch to OFF from either the LOW or HIGH setting. Unplug the power cord to ensure the juicer is off. If you encountered a problem while juicing, keep in mind there might be pulp in the pulp basket along with juice and/or food in the machine. Be aware of this or clean it out before attempting a repair.

    • Place the juicer on a flat surface. Make sure the juicer is unplugged and in the "off" position. For the following steps, the pulp basket is on the left.

    • Tilt the juicer slightly to the right so the pulp basket is off of your surface.

    • Pull the pulp basket down and out from under the juicer cover.
