Our 3 year old Bosch dishwasher developed a leak into the bottom tray. While filling with water, the "Check Water" indicator would light and the dishwasher would not run. As it was out of warranty, I decided to see if the leak was easily fixed.
NOTE: there is a 4.5kg weight in a black plastic case mounted at the rear of the plastic tray.

Check for leak by holding palm over inlet and blowing into outlet (right). If you can hear an air leak fill the cavity (arrow) with a good caulk or silicone.
