This guide will show you the steps necessary to remove the capacitor in the Bendix Magneto. A worn out capacitor can cause an excessive RPM drop on the left or right aircraft magneto.

Use the #2 Flathead screwdriver to remove the five screws on the body of the magneto.

Locate the two screws on the back of the magneto that holds the capacitor in place.

Use the #2 Flathead screwdriver to remove the two screws.
