Position the laptop with the back cover facing upward.

Remove all 4 mm screws using a #00 Philip's screwdriver.

Open the laptop with the keyboard facing upward.

Carefully pry up the keyboard cover with your fingers or with a plastic spudger.

Remove electrical ribbons by gently lifting up the tab that is holding them down, then pulling them gently.

Set the keyboard plate aside. Gently lift up battery to remove it.

This was a easy and strait forward repair it took longer to find the tools than to do the repair. The hardest part for me was plugging the flex cables back in as I have a tremor in my hands. the repair took about 10 minutes.
