Remove 10 screws.

Note: front screws (blue) are 10mm long, central and rear (brown) are 12mm.

With opening tool or pick go around the case starting from back corner.

Lift cover and now you have access to most of the components.

Disconnect battery connect by pulling it up.

Any chance iFixit will make the battery replacement? There's a link to buy it on Amazon, but I've had batteries bought from Amazon fail within 3 months for other laptop models. Amazon is full of low quality batteries that aren't worth the money.
