Use this guide to replace the 20-inch sediment pre-filter for your Aquasana F-300R 300,000-gallon whole house water filtration system.
The sediment pre-filter keeps rust, dirt, and sediment particles from entering the main filter unit.
After 2-3 months of use (when the pre-filter darkens or water flow slows), the sediment pre-filter must be replaced. When this pre-filter is not replaced in a timely manner, water pressure can drop, and sediment particles can enter and clog the main filter tank.
