This is a guide for disassembling/repairing your American Era Cup Cake Maker.
For disassembly, you will need:
- One 4 inch phillips head screwdriver
- One 3 inch phillips head screwdriver
- One 2.0 mm tri-point screwdriver (or a 2.0 mm flathead screwdriver if you don't have a tri-point tip).
- Organizer for screws (optional)

            Open the cup cake maker 
- 
                     
            Unscrew the 4 Phillips screws attached along the edge of the iron plate. 
 
-

            Using s Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the LEDs from the panel located on the inside of the top cover. 
 
- 
                     
            
- 
   
   - 
                     
            Now that the top cover can be separated, unscrew the 4 Phillips screws holding the cardboard panel in place. 
- 
                     
            Remove the panel from the rest of the body. 
 
- 
                     
            
-

            Rotate the cupcake maker 180 degrees 
- 
                     
            Remove the hinge out of its socket and separate the top half from the bottom half. 
 
-

- 
   
   - 
                     
            Flip both sides of the cupcake maker over. 
- 
                     
            Locate and remove the shield on the bottom of the machine. 
 
- 
                     
            
- 
   
   - 
                     
            The screw that was hidden under the shield should now be visible. Remove the screw.

-

            On the same side, locate a box-like structure. Unscrew the screws with a tri-tip screwdriver or a flathead.

   - 
                     
            Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the 2 screws that are attached to the white fastener. 
- 
                     
            After unscrewing the 2 screws, two more screws should be visible that are deep in two holes to the sides of the box. Unscrew those with a Phillips screwdriver.

            There are two screws holding a second cardboard plate in place. Unscrew those with the 4 inch screwdriver. 
- 
                     
            If at this point, the problem is with the feet of the machine, locate the inside of the bottom cover and remove the three screws holding the feet in place with a Phillips screwdriver.

            The final screw to remove is on the left side relative to the plate. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove it. 
- 
                     
            To reassemble the Cup Cake Maker, simply follow the directions but in reverse.
