This guide is useful if software or external methods haven’t worked to improve your internet connectivity for your Acer Chromebook CB315-3HT-C3FQ. Your network card may be broken and need to replaced. Be careful not to strip any screws during this guide, as it will make it difficult to remove the network card.

Flip the Chromebook over so the bottom is facing up.

Remove all 10 screws that hold the bottom panel in place using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

Use an iFixit opening tool to pry the bottom panel up and detach it from the rest of the Chromebook.

Gently unplug the two (white and black) wires from the network card.

Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the screw blocking the network card.

Remove the network card from the laptop.
