For this guide you will need a phillips screwdriver. Make sure your laptop is completely powered off and the battery is removed. Remove the RAM and Hard drive before starting this guide.

Unlock the battery release by sliding it to the right.

Slide the release button and remove the battery.

Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, unscrew the ten screws securing the back panel.

Remove the two black connectors at the base of the screen.

Remove the grey keyboard cover with a spudger.

Unscrew the trackpad sensor from the keyboard cover and remove the sensor.
