  1. Place the laptop upside down so that the bottom panel is facing upwards.

  2. Unscrew the following 10 screws

    • Eight 5 mm Phillips head screws

    • Two 10 mm Phillips head screws

  3. Carefully peel the panel off of the bottom of the laptop.
    • Carefully peel the panel off of the bottom of the laptop.

  4. Remove the following 4 screws and piece of tape.
    • Remove the following 4 screws and piece of tape.

    • Three 3 mm Phillips head screws

    • One 5 mm Phillips head screws

  5. Carefully disconnect the hard drive from its port by sliding it to right.
    • Carefully disconnect the hard drive from its port by sliding it to right.
