Pull the switch on the back of laptop in the direction of the arrow.

If done correctly the battery should pop out. Lift the battery to remove it.

Use the screwdriver to remove the rubber cap on the top of the backplate.

Remove the screw that was uncovered.

Pull the backing plate away from the laptop.

Remove the four screws located in the corners of the metal bracket.

Push the hard drive away from the center until fully disconnected.

Lift the hard drive from the bottom right tab to remove it from the laptop.

Remove the four screws on the side of the hard drive and bracket.

Remove the hard drive from the bracket.

Insert the new hard drive into the bracket.

To reassemble your device, follow instructions 1-6 in the reverse order.
