Use the T5 screwdriver to remove the nine 2.1 mm screws from the bottom of the device.

Use the iFixit opening tool to remove the 4 pads to reveal six 3.1 mm screws underneath.

Use the T5 screwdriver to remove the 6 3.1 mm screws under the pads.

Use the iFixit opening tool to pry the backing of the device off.

Use the tweezers to separate the cables from the motherboard.

Use the JIS1 screwdriver to remove the four 2.1 mm screws around the audio cards.

Gently disconnect the audio cards, exposing the battery.
-

-
Use the J00 screwdriver to remove the three 1.7 mm battery screws.

-
Grip the battery and remove it from the device.

Remove the battery cable out of the motherboard by lifting the battery cables.
