Flip the fob so the backside is facing up.

Slide the lock to the right.

Pull the key out from the top of fob case.

Insert the tip of the key or a spudger into the space where the key was and begin to pry the two parts of the fob apart.

If that doesn't work twist the key slightly and open up the plastic case.

Insert a new CR2450 lithium cell battery.

Replace the back case.

Press the two halves together and snap it shut.

Insert the key back into the case.
