This guide will demonstrate how to replace/clean the interior air filter for the 2019 Toyota Highlander. This replacement does not require any tools, only your hands, which makes this fix guide easier to follow. By changing the air filter on your own, you can save some time and money.

Open the glove compartment and take everything out.

Press the tabs on the sides of the glove compartment until they are released.

Once the tabs are released, remove the entire glove compartment.

Open the second cover. Position your finger where the red circle is pointing in the first image, then lower it.

Press the tabs on the side of the third cover. Remove the cover.

Pull the filter out. If the filter is really dirty, then replace it with a new one. Otherwise, clean the filter and return it to position.
