If your 2019 Nissan Sentra car no longer responds to the keyless remote, it is most likely due to a dead battery, which needs to be replaced.
A functioning battery allows your car to receive signals from the keyless remote to perform functions such as unlocking and locking car doors, opening the trunk, and most importantly, starting the car.

Remove the key by pulling the lever on the back of the keyless remote.

Use a prying tool to pry the back cover away from the rest of the remote.

Use your fingers to remove the old battery from the remote.

Place the new battery in the remote and firmly press down to make sure it’s secure.

Place the back of the remote back onto the remote.

Once the back is firmly secured on the key remote, place the key back into the remote.

Make sure to test the key remote to make sure it is working properly.
