Remove the valet key from the top by sliding the button over.

Use an opening tool or flathead screwdriver to separate the top and bottom of the key fob.

Use a spudger or pair of tweezers to pull the battery out.

Replace the new battery in the battery holder.

Align the two halves of the fob and press them together with your fingers until they snap into place.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
- Make sure that the new battery is clasped in.
- Snap the sides back together.
- Insert the valet key back into its slot.
- Test the key fob on your vehicle to ensure it works perfectly.
