To open up the hood of the car, locate the latch at the front bottom left side of the drivers side and pull it.

Push the lever underneath the center of the hood of the car to lift the hood up.

Using a 10mm wrench, remove the hold-down clamp from the battery to give room to remove the battery terminals.

Use a 10mm wrench to loosen the nut on the negative terminal, then twist and pull the cable gently to detach it from the battery. Secure the cable away from the battery to avoid accidental contact.

Repeat the same process with the positive terminal. Lift the cover up and use a 10mm wrench to loosen the nut on the positive terminal then twist and pull the cable gently to detach it from the battery.

Lift the battery cover off of the battery.

Lift and remove the old battery out of the battery tray and set it in a safe place.

Insert the new battery in the battery tray and insert the battery cover within it, as well as the battery hold-down clamp.

Connect the positive cable to the positive terminal and tighten the nut. Ensure a snug fit but avoid overtightening.

Do the same for the negative terminal. Connect the negative cable to the negative terminal and tighten the nut.
