  6. Remove the #4 25mm screw and the #2 25mm screw on panel with a standard Phillips Screwdriver.

  7. Pry Off Full Door Panel starting at bottom and working up the side, pulling fairly hard waiting. Clicking noises are a good sign the door panel is unlocking.

  8. Once door panel is free, remember to remove header from the tweeter in upper right hand corner of panel.

  9. Remove bracket from door by unscrewing the two 14 mm nuts pictured here connected to the speaker unit.

  10. Remove speaker from bracket by unscrewing the two #2 12mm screws using a Phillips head screwdriver.

  11. Desolder wires to new speaker unit using solder wick or a desoldering tool.
    • Desolder wires to new speaker unit using solder wick or a desoldering tool.

    • Soldering uses high temperatures. Be careful not to damage the components or injure yourself in the process.
