Headlights are one of the most important parts of a car when it comes to the safety of drivers. When a headlight goes out, it is not only an inconvenience, but also a danger to all drivers on the road at the time. Luckily, however, if it is simply a bulb that has gone out, it is a simple and quick replacement. Pull the release lever firmly to release the latch securing the hood.

Raise the hood of the car and connect the car hood prop to the correct place.

Use a Phillips #2 screwdriver to remove the six 19 mm plastic screws holding the protective plastic piece in place.

Locate the headlight casing cap in the front of the engine compartment near the headlight unit that is out.

Twist the cap counter-clockwise firmly and lift it up to remove it.

Twist and pull the bulb gently to dislodge it from the headlight casing.

Pinch the tabs near the base of the bulb together and pull the bulb from its socket.

Grab the new bulb slide it into the socket firmly to secure it between the tabs.
