Locate and lift the handle above the driver's or passenger's seat.

Find tabs for removal of joint cover.

With a spudger, enter the tab and gently apply pressure to disconnect the joint cover from the assembly.

Slowly apply pressure away from the frame.

Repeat the steps to remove the other joint cover.

Remove the handle leaving behind the metal clips.

With a pair of pliers or with your fingers, pinch and pull on the metal clips to remove them.
