Owning a vehicle should not come with unmanageable maintenance requirements. Therefore, this guide is designed to help assist owners of the 2007 Honda CRV replace their broken brake lights. Although there are other manuals and guides for fixing this light, the majority of them are in video form. For auditory learners and those with little experience fixing cars the assumed car proficiency for the viewer within these videos can be daunting. Additionally, most of these videos show no distinction between the particular CR-V’s model and production year, and they do not reference a specific rear light part.
We have created our written guide to help clarify this procedure, step by step, focusing uniquely on fixing the bulb from the brake light for a novice audience.
Before beginning this guide, power off the ignition, place the car in park, and engage the parking brake.
