Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the screw at the base of the key fob.

Insert a flathead screwdriver into the crack between the top and bottom portions of the key fob.

Pry upwards with the flathead screwdriver to loosen the bottom portion of the fob.

Remove the bottom portion of the key fob.

Remove the inner portion of the key fob.

Use your fingers to undo the clips at the top and bottom of the fob's inner portion.

Separate the two sides of the fob's inner portion.

Use a flathead screwdriver to pry up the circular battery.

Remove the key fob's battery.
