Locate the oil filter under the exhaust manifold in the front of the vehicle

Place the Lisle 63600 Oil Filter Tool over the filter, use an extension on the ratchet to reach around the hot manifold, and loosen the filter

Be careful not to burn yourself on the hot manifold.

Unscrew the oil filter and let it drain into the oil drain pan

Make sure the pan is aligned to catch oil from both the filter and drain plug.

Carefully remove the old oil filter

Clean the mating surface where the new filter will be installed

Ensure there are no old seals or debris that could affect the new filter's seal

Install the new oil filter by hand tightening it

Replace the old gasket on the drain plug with a new one, if necessary
