How long does it take to restore? |
The iPod Mini (trademarked, marketed and stylized as the iPod mini) was a DAP or digital audio player designed and sold by Apple Inc. It was the budget model iPod. The second-generation version was announced on February 23, 2005 and released later that year. The iPod Mini was officially discontinued on September 7, 2005.
The two iPod Mini generations look almost identical, both inside and out. However, they use slightly different internal parts. The slight variation of parts used in the second generation causes it to have improved functionality ofer the first generation.
The second generation can be identified in a few ways. Unlike the first generation, there was a storage marking on the rear of the housing. The first generation only used a silver clickwheel, while the second generation uses both silver and colored clickwheels. The little print at the btottom of the rear housing also has the year 2005 whereas the first generation has the year 2004.
