The Volkswagen Transporter T7, released in 2025, is a mid-sized commercial van produced by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. Developed under a joint venture between Volkswagen and Ford, it is based on the Ford Transit platform, marking a significant shift from previous Transporter generations. Despite sharing the T7 designation, it should not be confused with the Volkswagen Multivan T7, which was introduced in 2021. The Multivan is built on the Volkswagen Group’s MQB car platform and is aimed more at passenger comfort than commercial use.
