Volkswagen Multivan T7 Repair

The Volkswagen Multivan T7, introduced in 2021, is a mid-sized van produced by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. Although it succeeds the T6.1 in the Transporter series, the Multivan marks a significant shift by being built on a car platform—the Volkswagen Group’s MQB architecture—instead of a traditional commercial vehicle platform. As such, it should not be confused with the Volkswagen Transporter T7, which was released in 2025 and is based on the Ford Transit platform. Despite the shared T7 designation, the two vehicles are fundamentally different in architecture, purpose, and design, with the Transporter T7 continuing the commercial van lineage under a joint venture between Volkswagen and Ford.
