Background and Identification
The Van Mark Mark II TrimMaster is a sliding gutter brake for siding, roofing, and gutter installation projects. The gutter brake can bend aluminum trim coil, light steel, and copper. A gutter brake is a metalworking machine that allows the bending of sheet metal to form gutters. The Mark II TrimMaster bends metal up to 180-degrees for various projects.
The Mark II TrimMaster includes a 14-inch throat depth by 1.75-inch jaw opening for bending intricate shapes in sheet metal. The brake’s dual base rails and hollow-core power lock bar are designed to provide necessary clamping pressure. It also features a Powerslot hinge system for 5/8-inch or larger bends. The gutter brake includes a cam-lock system that self-adjusts to any material thickness. It features self-lubricating wedge pads and bearings to reduce or eliminate metal-to-metal friction. The Mark II TrimMaster can bend up to 0.027 gutter or trim coil, 26-gauge painted (Grade D) galvanized steel and 24-ounce copper sheet metal. Van Mark recommends using one of the following optional stands while using the Mark II TrimMaster: USA1, UNL1, 3002 folding legs.
The Mark II TrimMaster includes a mostly silver-colored body with green accents on its handles and body. It features a powder-coated and anodized finish to prevent UV fading and oxidation. The name “Mark II TrimMaster” is printed in green font on the front side of the gutter brake. Van Mark’s website (www.van-mark.com) and phone number (1-800-Van-Mark) are printed in black font on either side of the “Mark II TrimMaster” name. The gutter brake includes locking handles and built-in carry handles for transportation.
