VTube Studio Repair

VTube Studio, also known as VTS, is cross-platform software for Virtual YouTubers (VTubers) that utilizes your smartphone or webcam for real-time face tracking to animate a Live2D Cubism Model.

The software can run on Windows and macOS but can also run on iOS (iPhone/iPad) and Android devices. A connected smartphone can either render the avatar itself or stream the tracking data over the local network to a desktop running VTube Studio.

VTube Studio is officially licensed to use the Live2D Cubism SDK, so it supports only 2D rigged Live2D models (it does not support 3D VRoid/VRM models).

VTube Studio was created and is maintained by Vincent “Denchi” Diener of Germany (DenchiSoft) as essentially a one-person project. The first versions of VTS appeared on mobile platforms in late 2020, while the official Steam release for Windows and MacOS released on March 12, 2021.

Since then the project as seen frequent updates, with the latest being released in August of 2025. Recently added features include "Collab Mode" which allows users to share a session with other, and expanded Twitch streaming integration.
