Troubleshooting
Find problems with your Tungsten E using the Tungsten E troubleshooting guide.
Identification and Background
The Tungsten has 32 megabytes of memory and a 126MHz processor. The screen is a 2 1/8 x 2 1/8 trans reflective screen. It's dimensions are 4.5 x 3.1 x 0.5 inches, and weighs 4.6 ounces. It runs Palm OS 5.2.1, and it comes with a stylus for touch screen operations. The normal color for the device is silver.
The Tungsten E was released in October of 2003, and was very successful due to being one of the cheapest in the series. Unfortunately, it contains a design flaw where the alarm sounds do not play from the very beginning; this design flaw was never addressed by the technical support.
It was one of Palm's strongest sellers until it was surpassed by the next model, the Tungsten E2.
