The model used for this description came with an AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-58, which sits in an AMD Socket S1 (not g2). It can accommodate a TL-60 Turion 64 X2 definitely, and in theory up to a TL-68.
Background
The Toshiba Satellite A215 a model in the long-running Satellite A-series of laptop computers, was released in 2007. As was standard for computers at the time, the A215 uses Windows Vista for its operating system. The A-series of laptops are known for budget computing and are lightweight machines with large screens, typically more than 15 inches. It is no longer in production as of September 2010.
