Ryobi P505

The Ryobi P505 was released on June 10, 2016. It is a cordless saw, which is powered by the Ryobi's ONE+ 18v batteries. which means it can share the same batteries as the previous generations.

The Ryobi P505 has a 5½-inch blade that allows for smooth cuts. With a smaller 1.5 Ah (Amp-hour), it can last anywhere between 30-40 minutes for a light task and 10-15 minutes for a heavy-duty task. It also has an angular adjustment that allows you to angle the saw all the way to a 50-degree angle. In the handle itself, there is a built-in lock that, when not activated, won't let the trigger be activated. Its balance of smooth control and that body provides one-handed, accurate control. The saw also features a safety blade guard, a quick and easy way to change the saw blade, and a lower guard of transparent material to allow for improved visibility when cutting.

Although this Circular Saw has some amazing features, there are a few downsides, such as a faulty trigger switch that won't allow the saw to turn on or be used. Motor failure can also occur which case the whole motor would need to be replaced. A downside that also gets overlooked is overheating, in which sawdust can build up on the vents and cause the motor to stop completely and damage it as well.

The Ryobi P505 can be identified through its lime green and black color scheme, with both the left and right sides of the motor case featuring the "Ryobi ONE+" logo imprinted. The model designation P505 is engraved below the battery port or printed on the motor casing.
