The Zire 21 is an entry level device for the novice PDA user. The Zire 21 is a 3.8 ounce, 4.4- by 2.9-by-0.6-inches of 8MB processing system. The device is composed of a monochrome screen and a pliable plastic protective lid. The Palm Zire 21 was released in September of 2002. It is the cheapest of the chain of zire devices made available.
