Background
The Nikon Coolpix L340 is a mid-sized bridge camera with a classic bridge design. It was released in February 2015 and priced at around $150. This model captures beautiful images, has a 28X optical zoom, high definition LCD monitor, and simple and intuitive operation. This camera allows you to take crisp shots and HD movies because of the Lens-shift VR and the 720p video recording. This camera utilizes a rounded, comfort grip and simple controls layout. The wide-angle coverage of the zoom lens allows you to always be close to the action.
Identification
Due to its classic design, there aren’t that many buttons/dials. The on/off switch is located on top of the camera, as well as the camera’s microphone. The flash is also located on top of the camera, and so is the button that releases the pop-up flash. On the back of the camera are the video record and the playback buttons, which are used to search through your images. The Menu button and the delete button are located on the back near the navigational pad, and the OK button is in the center. Both the memory card and the battery compartment are found on the bottom of the camera.
You can identify your Nikon Coolpix L340 by the model and serial numbers printed on the bottom of your camera near the tripod mount.
