The NEO Home Robot by 1X is an AI-powered humanoid companion designed for home use. It is intended to take over mundane household tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and assisting with daily chores, allowing users to reclaim valuable time.

The NEO features a soft, cushioned body, tendon-driven actuators, and an overall friendly appearance. NEO uses the Redwood AI model, a vision-language transformer designed specifically for NEO's humanoid form factor along with a built-in large language model for human interaction.

The NEO is advertised as being capable of compleating many tasks autonomously, however owners of the NEO can sechedule a 1X Expert to guide it through a chore that the NEO does not know, which allows it to collect data so that it can eventually learn to do the task automatically.
