Background Information
Introduced to the public in October of 2006, the Motorola WT4000 was a wearable mobile computer that was designed to be worn by the user, either by being mounted to the wrist or hip, along with an optional scanner that is mounted to the user’s fingers or back of hand.
While the WT4000 was designed primarily to be used for data capture and inventory management, the WT4000 features an IP54 seal to protect from dust and water, can survive multiple drops of 4 ft to concrete, and can operate in temperatures as low as -4 °F.
The production of the WT4000 ended in 2013 and was suceeded by the WT6300.
