Identification and Background
The Droid 3 has several features that distinguish it from earlier generations. Its 4" qHD (960 x 540) display is .3" inches larger than the Droid 2's display. Computing is handled by a 1 GHz dual-core processor, and 16 GB of onboard memory allow for media storage. Supplemental storage can be provided by a MicroSD card up to 32 GB in size. It sports an 8 MP camera that is capable of 1080p video recording at 30 fps. Upon its release, it shipped with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).
The Droid 3 has a user-replaceable, 1540 mAh battery.
