Background and Identification
The great-grandchild of the Microsoft Courier prototype of the 2000’s, the Surface Duo is a dual-screen folding portable computer designed for productivity on the go. It runs on a customized version of Android that allows two applications to run simultaneously at any time. It was announced in October of 2019 with the Surface Laptop 3 and the Surface Pro X, and released in September of 2020.
