The Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 2 was released, by Lenovo, in late 2020. The Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 2, while not having any major design changes, was a significant hardware upgrade over its predecessor, the Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 1. It is primarily used by business workers, software developers and students. It can have an Intel or AMD processor and a maximum RAM capacity of 32 gb.

To Easily identify the model, flip your Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 2 over and look at the bottom left. It should display "Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 2" there. If the text have been worn out, or is obstructed by something, we can also identify it with the model number. The third character in the model number should be a "T". If this is not the case, then it is not a second generation. Model numbers 20TD and 20TE will generally be equipped with AMD processors; model numbers 20T8 and 20T9 will have Intel Processors.
