HTC U Play Repair

The HTC U Play is a mid-range Android smartphone introduced by HTC in January 2017. HTC is a Taiwanese consumer electronics company that primarily designs and manufactures laptop computers. The HTC U Play was sold as part of the HTC U series, a line of mid-range and high-end smartphones. The U Play model was sold alongside the U Ultra.

The HTC U Play’s 5.2-inch display has a resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels. It is built with a Gorilla Glass front, a plastic backing, and a plastic frame. The U Play model includes hybrid dual-SIM capabilities, meaning it can house two Nano-SIM cards and operate with one while the other is in standby. It comes with either 32 GB of internal storage and 3 GB of RAM or 64 GB of internal storage and 4 GB of RAM. Its internal storage can be expanded using a microSDXC SIM slot. The phone features a 16-megapixel main camera and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The HTC U Play also includes a 2500 mAh non-removable battery, meaning its battery is attached to the inside of the phone with a permanent adhesive, making repair and replacement more difficult than for non-removable batteries.

The HTC U Play includes the name “HTC” printed with a lowercase ‘h,’ and a capital ‘T.’ The phone includes an ovular home button in the center of the device’s bottom bezel.
