Background
The DEWALT DW325PL is a pneumatic 12.5 inch plastic collated air framing nailer released in 2016, designed for anyone from seasoned users at home to professionals on jobsites. It is most commonly used for framing, sheathing, and decking applications.
Its compact build allows the tool to fit nails from 2-3.25 inches in length into spaces that are difficult to reach, particularly under 13 inches. It features a 21° magazine that is capable of holding up to 64 nails, a nail retention magnet, tool-free depth of drive adjustment, a fixed exhaust with an internal air filter, a slip-on handle, and aluminum housing.

The DEWALT Framing Nailer DW325PL (2016) can most easily be identified by its label located on the bottom of the magazine. The tool is primarily colored yellow with a silver exhaust, black handle, and black magazine. The DEWALT logo is displayed on the side of the framing nailer. As a pneumatic tool, there is an absence of power cords and battery slots.
The DEWALT DW325PL is nearly identical to the DEWALT 325PT, where they differ in their rafter hooks, magazine angles, loading capacities, maximum shank diameters, fastener collations, and compatible nail types.
