This laptop is a terrible design. You need to completely disassemble the laptop (display off and motherboard out) to change the hard drive. A common failure part like a hard drive should be easier to access.
Dell Service manual can be found here. I would photograph the procedure, but the laptop I have is missing screws. It looks like it had been disassembled before and they left out a few screws, and put screws back in the wrong places.
