Craftsman Framing Nailer 351.181780

The Craftsman Nailer 351.181780 is a tool intended for heavy-duty nailing applications. This includes tasks such as framing, sheathing, subflooring, and decking. It was manufactured by Colovos Co for Sears under the Craftsman brand. It is a pneumatic framing nailer, meaning it is powered by compressed air. The device is capable of holding up to 70 nails at a time and can accommodate nails ranging from 2" to 3-1/2" in length and .113" to .131" in diameter. The operating pressure for the nailer is between 70 to 110 PSI.

The Craftsman Nailer 351.181780 includes a variety of features for user convenience and functionality. It has a durable body made of magnesium, with aluminum components. The magazine is angled at 21 degrees, a design that is useful for toe-nailing and nailing in tight spaces. It has an adjustable depth control that does not require tools for precise nail depth setting. The nailer also includes a sequential trigger switch for either rapid fire or single fire nailing. It has a dry fire lockout mechanism that prevents blank firing and a contact trip safety feature that disables the nailer unless the tip is pressed against the workpiece. For ease of use, the nailer includes a quick jam release door for simple nail jam clearing, a tool-free rotating exhaust deflector, and a belt hook for convenient carrying.
